Rosalind Irvine

November 22, 1952 — October 12, 2021

In Loving Memory
Rosalind (Roz) Anne Irvine

Roz was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on November 22, 1952 and passed unexpectedly in Victoria, BC on October 12, 2021.

Roz is survived by her 3 Daughters, Season, Zoe and Kelly, had 8 amazing grandchildren, and 2 beautiful great grandchildren.
She is also survived by additional family members and their spouses/partners which include her father Kenneth, and siblings Doug, Carrol, and Leslie.

She was a fiercely independent person, who was very proud of her 20 year career with the Forest Practices Board in Victoria. She truly cherished the friendships she made working with such a great group of people.

Roz enjoyed growing flowers in her garden, baking her famous pie crust cookies with her grandson Dylan, crafting, knitting, crocheting, doing ceramics, and collecting elephants.
Her turkey dinners and apple pies were unparalleled.
She loved to wander around beautiful Victoria gardens and garden centers and would often leave with clippings or some new plants to enjoy.

She loved to listen to Rock and Roll, and would crank up the tunes and dance with a beautiful smile on her face. She always made sure that her daughters knew when a Beatles song came on, and made sure that she sang the lyrics well. She was the loudest audience member when she went to see Kansas live, and was shocked and over the moon when she received an autographed poster from the band.
She was thrilled when she had the opportunity to travel to Mexico with her best friend Faith, Disneyland with daughter Season, her partner Steve, and her grandson Nolin, and helping to plan an amazing 10 day trip with her daughter Season to Scotland, Ireland and England. She absolutely loved being able to experience more of her Scottish heritage and visit the Irvine family castle and gardens.

Roz enjoyed meeting new people and had a great sense of humor. She always loved a good laugh and enjoyed playing games with friends and going for picnics with her friend Deborah.

She will be missed and always loved.
