Patricia Lea Gould

Pat Gould, our beloved sister, mother, godmother, aunt, and nana, passed away on November 17, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy filled with kindness, humour, and an endless warmth that touched every life around her. Throughout her career, Pat poured her heart into teaching visually impaired children in Quesnel, Parksville, and Delta—offering not just guidance, but genuine love and encouragement to her students.

She is survived by her sister Jo-Anne (Rick) and her brother Michael (Michele), as well as by her daughter Aimee, her son-in-law Scot, and her adored grandchildren Paige, Nolan, Olivia, and Quentin.

In retirement, Pat made her home in Nanaimo to be close to her family, her greatest joy.

Pat found beauty in the simple pleasures of life: tending to her garden, choosing the perfect piece of jewelry, enjoying anything lemon, and remembering her early passion for horses, which brought her many treasured friendships. Her mischievous smile, quick wit, and fondness for a good dad joke could brighten even the dullest day. She had a rare and gentle gift for making everyone she met feel seen, valued, and special. Pat was easy to love—warm, generous, and full of heart. She will be deeply, forever missed by all whose lives she graced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CINB in Pat’s memory.
