JOE BENNETT – OBITUARY

We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Joseph Frederick (Joe) Bennett of Blackfalds, AB in Victoria, B.C. on October 10th, 2025. Joe lived life on his terms. He had a go big or go home attitude. There was nothing he couldn’t do and his entrepreneurial skills always had him trying new adventures or building new things. Joe’s life in the oilfield industry led him to work for many companies away from home at extended periods of time. His best year was last year when he was able to find work right in Blackfalds. This allowed him to be home almost every day and participate in Brody and Kenzie’s activities and spend quality time with Raelene. His passing has left a huge hole in so many hearts. He leaves behind so many people who loved him dearly. His wife and best friend, Raelene Bennett, his two beautiful children who meant the world to him, Brody (11) and Kenzie (10). Also his mom, Lise Lennon and grandmother, Lucie Lennon, sister, Lee Anne Bennett, niece, Maxine Beauregard (Robyn) and family, dad, Gary Bennett, grandfather, Paul Lennon and his in laws, Marilou and Greg Brummund, sisters in law, Kristen (Mark Dobler), Laree (Joe Vanderlaan) Arabella and Theo, Danielle (Connor Odenbach), Ellis and Emmy and so many extended family and friends. Joe’s heart was always thinking of others. As you think of Joe today, please do a random act of kindness in his memory.
