In Loving Memory of Jeffrey David Busse

August 19, 1953 – July 8, 2026

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey David Busse on July 8, 2026, at the age of 72, after a period of declining health.

Jeff grew up in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, and spent most of his adult years in Edmonton. A dedicated heavy equipment operator, Jeff found great purpose in his work and never truly wanted to retire. He took pride in a hard day's work and valued the sense of purpose it gave him. Friendly and outgoing, he had a remarkable ability to strike up a conversation and make a connection wherever he went.

In retirement, Jeff made his home in Victoria, British Columbia, where he enjoyed the beauty of the West Coast and cherished time with his daughters and his brother Scott.

Jeff lived life on his own terms and was forever a dreamer. He found joy in music, especially jazz in his later years, and took great pleasure in a well-crafted stereo system. He was also a lifelong enthusiast of cars and motorcycles. Above all, he was a proud father and his daughter’s accomplishments and happiness meant the world to him.

He will be remembered with love by his daughters, Jillian and Amanda, and by his brothers, Kent, Dana, and Scott. He was predeceased by his parents, Gloria and Arthur.

Though he will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him, they take comfort in knowing he is now at peace. His memory will be cherished always.
