Deborah Dickson

December 28, 1973 — January 25, 2020

It is with great sadness we share that Debbie passed peacefully in her sleep on January 25, 2020 at the age of 46, after a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born in Victoria, BC and graduating from Lambrick Park Secondary, Debbie became a hairdresser, working at various salons in Greater Victoria.

Predeceased by her father Ken Dickson (2018) and survived by her mother, Gael Dickson, only daughter Shaela Ripley (Jordan), brother’s Dave (Tina) and Doug (Spring), nieces and nephew, as well as many extended family and friends, Debbie will fondly be remembered for her talented art, love of smarty blizzards, tigers and cats. However, more than anything, Debbie loved her daughter Shaela, her “Angel,” whom she will always love to the moon and back.

Thank you to Selkirk Place, Nigel House and staff for their support and care during her illness. Special thank you to Uncle Richard Swinden for his endless and appreciated support of Debbie, as well as her dear friend Toni Anne Drew for many years of unwavering love and attention.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests you consider a donation to Broadmead Care Society. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday February 28, 2020 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Langford Legion, 761 Station Ave.
