Clifford Miller

February 3, 1942 — June 23, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Brick Miller, at the age of 83 on June 23, 2025.
Born in New Westminster and raised in Fraser Mills, Brick’s early years were marked by an exceptional athleticism in a variety of sports including baseball, ice hockey, basketball and golf. He was a natural leader and a talented athlete, leading his basketball team in scoring, playing in the Little League World Series, claiming a provincial ice hockey championship, and ultimately becoming a club professional in golf. Brick continued to pursue his love of golf throughout his life, totaling 5 holes-in-one and several club championships including the inaugural 2009 event at Highland Pacific.
Brick had a passion for cars, enjoying leisurely drives in his cherished convertible Mustang and his ‘Suby’. He was also an avid fisherman, finding joy in fly fishing for trout and salmon fishing with his friends and family throughout Vancouver Island.
An entrepreneur at heart, Brick spent many years in the lumber industry, and founded several successful businesses.
Most importantly, Brick was a devoted husband to Andrea for nearly 61 years, a loving father to Leah (Scott) and Derek (Kathy), and a dedicated grandfather to Danielle and Kira. Brick was predeceased by his sister Marilynn and his parents Frank and Hilda Miller.
Brick’s kindness, generosity, and infectious sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and laughter.
A celebration of his life will be held in late July. Please contact the family for further details.
